Expeditions to the North Pole
The expedition to the North Pole is held in July and August.
The total duration of the expedition is 14 days. The icebreaker is designed for 120 passengers.
The plan of the expedition:
- Start from Murmansk with pre-check-in at the hotel
- Next, boarding an icebreaker and 4 days of travel to the North Pole. There is an economy, standard, and luxury class room on the icebreaker. Lots of entertainment: gym, sauna, swimming pool, restaurant and lecture hall.
- We spend the whole day at the North Pole. The North Pole is not a fixed point, but a place of coordinates on drifting ice floes. Around the zero point, in favorable weather, you will find a sauna on the glacier, swimming in the Arctic Ocean, a helicopter tour.
- The return journey runs through the lands of Franz Josef with a landing on boats for walks in the Russian Arctic National Park
- After all the excursions and adventures, we return back to Murmansk.
You can go to Franz Josef Lands and see polar bears and glaciers without taking an icebreaker trip to the North Pole. Excursions to the Russian Arctic National Park are carried out from Murmansk or Arkhangelsk by sailing yacht, helicopter, plane all year round.
