We are starting a series of thematic meetings "Zemlyanoi Val: Legends and crafts of old Moscow"
Each thematic meeting is a journey through the cozy alleys of Moscow's Basmanny district and a visit to a creative workshop in a historic building. Immerse yourself in the atmosphere of Old Moscow and create unique souvenirs for yourself!
THEMATIC MEETING No. 1
The whisper of alleys and the secrets of old Moscow
Date and time: February 22 from 16.00 to 19.00
Venue of the event: M. Chkalovskaya
Our meeting will consist of two parts:
- e-tours (from 16.00 to 17.30) and
- m of the aster class for painting shopping bags (from 17.30 to 19.00)
The program of the event:
We get off at Chkalovskaya and plunge into the world of old Moscow. Let's start with the Earthen Rampart, then turn into Podsosensky to feel its atmosphere. Lyalin Lane will enchant with its historical appearance, and Barracks will lead us to the Church of St. James, a place of peace and beauty. We will catch glimpses of the past in the details of architecture.
Our tour will end in a historic 18th century building, where we will uncover the secrets of its construction and learn about the amazing fates of its owners. But that's not all!
In one of the beautiful halls of this building, we will have a creative master class led by a master, where you will be able to capture the beauty of old Moscow as a souvenir. The floral ornaments seen on historical buildings, we will transfer them to our shopping bags. Let's create a unique souvenir, reminiscent of this unforgettable journey, and take your hand-painted bag with us!
Organizational issues:
- During the master class, disposable aprons, gloves and napkins are provided for each participant.
- The tour part is pedestrian, takes place on the street. Please dress according to the weather and wear comfortable shoes. The tour is conducted by a certified guide.
- The event is held in a group of up to 20 people.
