Adygea. Rufagbo is a mountain river with a steep temper.

Rufagbo translates from Adyghe as cool, rabid. The Rufagbo River and its waterfalls are one of the main attractions of Adygea. In total, the river has 12 waterfalls ranging in height from 5 to 15 meters. They say that there are free trails along the river, we didn't know about it and used a paid, more well-maintained one.

After passing through the turnstile, we immediately found ourselves on a suspension bridge, under which there was a mountain river in all its exuberant beauty.

At the entrance there was a plan with waterfalls and observation decks of routes.

First we got into the area of cafes and outdoor tents with handmade products. The sheepskin slippers purchased there still serve perfectly, are just as soft and warm, and are a pleasant reminder of a trip to the Rufagbo River.

The thematic stands located along the main trail describe the history of Adygea and its famous people.

The house of the ancient Adygs and their tools have also been recreated.

I think this is very informative and important, because acquaintance with the place will not be complete if you do not get acquainted with its history and features.

The weather was beautiful: the sun was not hot and shone moderately.

My goal was not to search for certain waterfalls, routes and sites, but to walk and admire the scenery of a beautiful mountain river.

At first we walked along wide beaten paths. Gradually, the road becomes narrower and more difficult. The road to the last waterfalls of the route is very narrow, with sharp stone ledges and I decided not to climb there. I did not reach the waterfall "Cup of Love" and "Maiden's braid". But part of our team has achieved the goal). Well done! There are brave people who follow this path with children. There is a route above the maiden spit, the end of which can be reached only with special equipment.

I am not a big fan of climbing mountains and overcoming the difficulties of climbing, maybe because I have enough practice in overcoming difficulties in other areas)).

Perhaps we did not visit all the points of the route and all the panoramic views, but what we saw was enough to enjoy the pristine beauty of nature and capture it in our memory, as well as in the photos attached below))).
