The wonders of the Tomsk scribble. Part 1.

Behind the dense mixed forest bordering the Kemerovo highway – Yashkino, the largest museum-reserve in the Urals «Tomskaya Pisanitsa» is majestically located.

This text describes the first day of our journey to this mysterious and magical place.

We love to visit unusual places in our country, so we could not pass by the unique natural and cultural complex, which is also located in the neighboring region.

We went there this summer from the Novosibirsk region by car with my husband and three-year-old son not only to admire the sights, but also to live.

Yes, yes, this is not a joke! For a nominal fee, anyone can set up a tent on a special guarded site on the territory of the museum, cook food on a campfire, enjoy magnificent views of the Tom River and visit the expositions of the museum-reserve.

By the way, you can stay there at any time of the year: there are several yurts and a guest house on the territory. But we are lovers of wild holidays, so our home on summer trips is a tent. However, summer can be different. During our stay, it rained almost all the time and it was very cold, but this did not prevent us from having a good rest.

Having set up camp, despite the tearful weather, we went to explore the territory of the museum.

The tent city is located next to the Siberian prison. It is a full-scale model of a defensive structure of the early XVII century. That's what we looked at in the first place.

It was getting late, all the museums and venues were already closed, so after that we just went for a walk around the territory.

The silence and absence of people made it possible to fully enjoy the greatness of nature in this place.

In the "territory of tranquility", swinging on a swing, we watched the leisurely flowing river and its rocky shores overgrown with birches and pines. Nearby, right on the edge of the cliff, stands the chapel of Saints Cyril and Methodius, built according to the canons of Siberian wooden architecture.

That was the end of the first day of our trip. The continuation of the story follows)
