We watch movies. Christmas stories.

We watch movies. Christmas stories.

Now many Catholic Christians around the world celebrate Christmas ⭐️

In Russia, of course, we celebrate Orthodox Christmas according to the Julian calendar - January 7. But still, we cannot miss this bright holiday of our neighbors and offer a selection of foreign Christmas films that you may not have seen yet. May there be more goodness and faith in miracles on this day ✨

The Girl with matches (2013)

A worthy film adaptation of the work by Hans Christian Andersen. The plot has been slightly changed, rather supplemented, but the meaning remains the same. Here grief is intertwined with happiness. It's about how good can change everything.

The Grinch is the Thief of Christmas (2000)

Are there any people who don't like the Grinch? Jim Carrey in the image of a green and harmful inhabitant of the mountain is incomparable, however, as always. A tale of acceptance, kindness and love ☺️

Merry Christmas (2005)

A film about the tragedy of people, but at the same time filled with hope. A war drama about Christmas, or rather about what this holiday brings - love for friend and enemy, forgiveness and mercy. On Christmas Day, even if only for a little bit, there was a truce. When wishing a "Merry Christmas" became more important than the war. Must-see.

The Christmas Story (2009)

Many are familiar with the work "A Christmas Carol in Prose" by Charles Dickens. This cartoon is a successful remake of the story. It's about kindness and love, about rethinking life and your actions. The Christmas Spirit has knocked on Ebenezer Scurge's door, maybe it will knock on yours too 😉

Do we have many movie lovers? Have you watched these movies?
