Favorite family recipes. Zebra pie.

This recipe was written down by me at the age of 10. Since then, it has passed the test of time and has not lost its relevance, but, on the contrary, has increased the number of fans among my friends and family :-).

 

The composition of the pie is as follows:

100 grams of butter

5 eggs

2 cups sugar

1 cup sour cream

½ teaspoon baking soda, slaked in vinegar

2 cups flour

2 tablespoons cocoa

 

To quickly prepare the dough, I melt the butter in the microwave, on the stove. If you have time, you can melt it in a natural way – by waiting).

Next, I add the above ingredients. I can use expired sour cream, since any one will do for baking at 200 degrees.

The dough should be quite thick, slowly drain from the spoon.

The dough prepared with flour should be divided into 2 parts in the proportions of about 1/3.

In a smaller part of the dough, you need to add cocoa. These will be the stripes of our zebra :-).

Next, we smear the baking dish and pour about half a cup of white dough (without cocoa) into the middle of the mold, after which we add large spoons, also in the center of the mold alternately: one spoonful of dough with cocoa, the second without cocoa, and so on. The dough spreads, forming uneven streaks. Spread out all the dough in this way and put it in the oven.

The cooking time of the pie is about 1 hour. It is necessary to monitor and be sure to pierce the middle with a match, because it may seem that the cake has risen and baked, but in fact the middle is raw.
