Atomic Heart - a game in an alternate past

Atomic Heart - a game in an alternate past

There has been talk about this game since 2018, and finally, gamers have the opportunity to check the promises of its promotional videos.
The plot takes us to 1955, but the events of the game somewhat do not coincide with reality. Yes, we are still in the USSR, communism and the party are above all, but the level of technological development goes beyond the understanding of the people of that era. The authors endowed the USSR with the status of a state ahead of the rest of the world. Scientists are very respected citizens, but at the same time they are carefully guarded. The protagonist of the game, Major Nechaev, or agent P-3, works for the head of the research base, Dmitry Sechenov, who runs a project called "Collective 2.0". Nechaev performs special assignments that must be carried out without attracting unnecessary attention from outside. Suddenly, a sabotage occurs inside the base and the P-3 agent must find the executor, deal with him and carefully cover his tracks.
Another hero of the game is Nechaev's glove with built-in artificial intelligence, which periodically releases emotional comments on what is happening.
For the first half hour, the plot seems somewhat boring and drawn out, but if you wait out this time, then events develop more dynamically. The developers have worked hard on equipment: a variety of firearms, axes and even energy devices. Unfortunately, you can’t take everything with you because of the small capacity of the hero’s backpack. The downsides include prolonged moments with movement in elevators, due to which, probably, the developers hid the downloads of additional resources to create a seamless effect.
In general, the game will appeal to almost everyone who was able to wait out the boring beginning and continued to play. Good graphics, nice soundtracks, puzzles and funny talkative corpses will please even skeptics. Have you tried the new one yet?
